HOW TO READ YOUR INVOICE
The invoice number, your account number and the invoice date are provided in separate boxes in the upper right-hand portion of the invoice. See a Sample Invoice.
Below these boxes are two more important boxes: “Amount Due” and “Amount Paid.” To make a payment, detach the top portion of your invoice by tearing along the perforated line and complete the “Amount Paid” box with your payment amount. You may give this to the delivery driver, drop it in our night dipository box, pay at one of our local offices or send it through the mail.
Under the perforated line, you will see word “Invoice” in bold and an itemized list of all products or services received on that date. In the lower right-hand portion of your invoice will be a total of these products and services, along with any applicable delivery fees or sales tax.
HOW TO READ YOUR STATEMENT
Your monthly statement is an itemized listing of the activity on your Dixie Gas & Oil account for the previous month, reflecting all products or services received during that time. See a Sample Statement (PDF).
Your account number and the statement date are provided in two boxes in the upper right-hand portion of the statement. Beneath this, you will see the mailing address for remitting payments to Dixie Gas & Oil.
Under our address are four more important boxes: “Balance Due,” “Amount Paid,” “Statement Date” and “Previous Balance.”
“Balance Due” is the amount currently owed on your account. “Amount Paid” should be completed with the remittance amount. “Statement Date” is the date of the current statement. “Previous Balance” is the unpaid balance from the previous billing cycle.
The lower part of your statement provides an itemized accounting of all products and services received during the month.
