Residential Payments & Programs

We offer several payment programs for our residential propane, heating oil and kerosene customers to help make your fuel costs more affordable. Please review the options below and contact a Customer Service Representative to select a plan or change plans. Please have the account name, number and address ready when you call.

CASH DISCOUNT
You will receive a three cent per gallon discount if you pay your residential propane, heating oil and/or kerosene within five business days. This discount applies to cash or check payments only.

Credit cards are accepted, but do not qualify to receive the discount.

BUDGET PAYMENT PLAN
With this plan, gallon usage is calculated from the previous heating season and the total estimated cost is averaged in equal monthly payments. There are two budget options available:

● The 12-month budget starts in June and ends in May of the following year.
● The 9-month budget starts in September and ends in May of the following year.

Budget plan customers also qualify for a three cent per gallon discount. This is calculated at the end of the budget season and is applicable if budget payments are made on time. 

Customers have the option to have their budget payment drafted from their checking or savings account by signing up for the direct payment plan.  For more information scroll down to the section "Direct Payment." 

CAP PRICE PROTECTION PLAN FOR PROPANE CUSTOMERS 
Similar to an insurance plan, “capping” the propane price protects you from price spikes. If the market price goes above your cap price, you’re only charged the cap price. If the market price is lower than the cap price, you get the lower price.

To receive the cap price, you must purchase a minimum of 150 gallons for delivery throughout the heating season and enroll in the plan prior to late spring/early summer. Only propane customers are eligible for this plan, and you must be enrolled in our automatic delivery service. There is an enrollment fee. Contact a Customer Service Representative for details.

PRE-BUY PLAN FOR PROPANE CUSTOMERS

“Pre-buying” allows you to take the uncertainty out of your winter heating costs because the pre-buy rate is determined when propane is typically at its lowest price of the season.

To receive the pre-buy price, you must purchase a minimum of 150 gallons for delivery throughout the heating season and enroll in the plan prior to late spring/early summer. Only propane customers are eligible for this plan, and you must be enrolled in our automatic delivery service. There is an enrollment fee. Contact a Customer Service Representative for details.

DIRECT PAYMENT 
Our direct payment plan is dependable, flexible, convenient and easy. Residential customers who are on a budget plan also quality for this plan. Here’s how it works:

  • Fuel payments are automatically drafted from your checking or savings account on a specified date.
  • If the payment amount varies from month to month, we will notify you at least 10 days before the payment date.
  • If you qualify for the three cent per gallon discount, it will be deducted from your invoice before payment is drafted.
  • The authorization you give us will remain in effect until you notify us in writing.
